Mid-Season Championship Meets

WPI & NES Senior Champs

December 12th - 14th &

December 18th - 21st 

 

The great performances of the 2025-2026 season continued at our mid-season meets the past two weekends. Our Porpoise swimmers achieved many new personal best times, and many established new qualifying times for the upcoming championship meet season coming up over the next three months.

 

So far this season it has been a steady and consistent path of good races and personal improvement that has been very enjoyable to work with and watch as our Porpoise families and swimmers continue to grow. With the quality team-wide performances at each meet it is very apparent that our swimmers know and understand the expectations of them at each practice they attend, and that they are working well within their group and supporting and encouraging one another that has a reciprocating effect. When each individual strives for personal improvement AND encourages their teammate to improve (and acknowledges effort - a simple high-five and addressing the person by using their name is all it takes!) it has a reciprocating effect! Everyone is doing a great job making an impact. 

 

I’m very proud of the team’s performance the first half of this year, and even more so of the culture of positivity, environment of support, and belief that surrounds the swimmers from lessons, to the middle and high school groups, intro to swim team and competitive groups…and even the adult groups! Across the swimming continuum it is a fun place to be on deck working with all of our swimmers, and it is great to see our swimmers and families benefiting from the efforts of everyone involved. 

 

We are looking forward to a fun second half of the short course season. For now, enjoy some down time and rest!
