PPSC Equipment
PPSC is now working with www.swimoutlet.com/porpoises for most of our equipment needs. If you need new jammers, goggles, or deck shoes, shop at www.swimoutlet.com/porpoises and help raise money for Portland Porpoise Swim Club at the same time! Swimoutlet will contribute 8% of your purchase total to PPSC, excluding tax and shipping. Not only do you get quality products at reasonable prices, you get to fundraise for PPSC without moving from your computer.
Stay tuned for more on equipment needs for your swimmers. Team suits, caps, and t-shirts will be purchased separately, not at swimoutlet.
Coach Matt Wins Again!
Congratulations to Coach Matt Baxter who won the Island Beach Two Mile Swim on Saturday, August 14 in Greenwich, CT. Matt competed against 72 other swimmers, and came out of the water first - again! Congratulations Coach - PPSC is proud of you! To read about the race, click here.

Top Ten Times Updated!
The Top Ten Times have been updated through the State Meet in March 2010. Check them out!
PPSC and Ian Crocker!

Portland Porpoise swimmers attended the Ian Crocker Swim Clinic at the University of Maine in Orono recently. They enjoyed the opportunity to talk and swim with Ian, and to present him with a gift as a fellow Portland Porpoise.
- Silver, Gold, and Varsity swimmers and Gold should bring a water bottle to practice, and use it!
- Pre-Senior swimmers should have a water bottle for practices filled with a mix of 1/4 - 1/2 energy drink and water in order to restore and replenish energy during longer workouts, as well as to hydrate.
